Edmonds Memorial Show
Thank you for inviting me to judge the Boxer Club of
Queensland show and thank you to all who exhibited their dogs under me, your
dogs were presented beautifully and handler expertly.
Overall I found many sound dogs; however, there were some
with incorrect bites, top lines and length of back. Our standard states the
Boxer should be medium sized, sturdy, smooth-haired, a SQUARE dog with substance
and elegance, as breeders this is what I feel we should be striving for.

Two very good types of the breed, there was not much between them and could have gone either way. My decision went to the dog today on his squareness in both head and body, his substance with elegance. Both the dog and the bitch were presented beautifully and handled to perfection. Credit has to go to the Owners, Breeders and Handlers on the day.
